Welcome

We are getting married in June (finally) and are looking forward to having all our friends and family there to witness and celebrate our marriage. We've put some information about the location of the church and hotel to make it easier for you to find on the day. We've also include a list of accomodation options close to the venue for your convenience.

Directions to Church & Reception

Directions From Cork City (Airport Roundabout) - 20km - 15 minutes

Directions from Macroom (20km - 18 minutes)

Directions from Mallow (48km - 45 minutes)

From the limerick road roundabout, take the exit for Cork and head south along the N20.
After 3Km, you will need to take a right off the Main road which will be signposted for Dromohane.
After leaving the main road continue for 400m along the R638 and take your first left down a narrow row. This takes you down past the Barry's of Mallow site so you will see a green security fence to your right.
Continue along the arrow road for 300m until you meet a T-Junction and take a left onto the R620.
Head along the R620 for approximately 2km until you approach the cross roads in the middle of Dromohane village. Take a left at these cross roads onto the R619.
Continue along the R619 following the main road. You will pass through the Village of Bweeng after 4km.
After padding though Bweeng you will eventually come into the New Tipperary village. Be careful to follow the main road sweeping to the right where the road will climb steeply. You will reach Donoughmore Cross after 2km.
After entering Donoughmore Cross, follow the Main road and signs for Coachford for another 2km until you reach Creans Cross. Head straight through the cross roads following the R619 which should bring you all the way to Coachford.
Once you reach Coachford village, there will be a slighlty staggered cross roads. Go straight ahead following the R619 and you will eventually pass over a large bridge. Immediately after the Bridge you need to take a left onto the which will be posted a Farran.

Continue along the road for 3km until you reach a Y-Juntion in the road. Stay on the main road by taking the right and continue along for approximately another 2.5km
After 2.5km you will enter Farran Village. You will see a primary school to the right. Immediately after the School will be the church to the right above the road.

Directions to Reception Venue

Directions From Church (68km - 60 minutes)

As you exit the Church carpark take a right and continue on for 200m
You will reach a juntction where the road sweep down to the left like a hairpin bend.
Take a left turn here and head down the road through the wooded area to the main road at Farran Cross.
Take a right turn onto the Main Cork to Macroom road (N22).
Continue along the N22 for 20Km until you reach marcroom.
Head straight through Macroom following the signposts for Killarney.
You will be driving for 35-40 minutes heading through Ballyvourney along the way.
You will approach a roundabout on the outskirts of Killarney, head through this along the N22 but start looking towards your left for signposts for BallyCasheen road.
Almost 1km after the roadabout you will see a sign post to your left for BallyCasheen road. Take a left here off the main road.
Follow the road for approximately 2 Km until you come to a T-Juntion with the Muckross road. Take a left here onto the Muckross Road.
Follow the Muckross road for approximately 1.5km and you will see the Killarney Oaks Hotel on the Left.

Killarney Oaks Hotel

This is the main Venue for the hotel reception. It is located on the Muckross road about 2km outside of Killarney town centre. If the hotel does not have rooms available the please ask to be added to the waiting list in case rooms do become available later.

The Lake Hotel

The lake hotel is also located on the Muckross road, directly across from the Killarney Oaks Hotel. It situated on the Lake so it is only a 100 metre walk from the front of the venue. If you are booking here please mention that you are attending the wedding 'Corkery/McSweeney' for preferential rates.

The Brehon Hotel

The Brehon is located on the Muckross road about 1km from Killarney town Centre and 1km from the reception venue. It is a approximately a 15 minute walk or 3 minute taxi ride from the Oaks to the Brehon.

The Glen Eagle Hotel

The Glen Eagle is located next to the Brehon hotel on the Muckross road. Its its's 800m away from the reception Venue and about 1km from the Killarney Town centre. The trip is about 2-3 minutes in a taxi and a 10 minute walk from the reception.

Closer to the Town Centre, the Dromhall is towards the start of the Mucross road. It is located 2km away from the reception venue so it is a 5 minute taxi Journey.

The randles Court is a sister hotel to the Dromhall and located next door to it on the Muckross road. It is also located 2km away so it is a 5 minute taxi Journey from the Killarney Oaks.
